Aged 100% in second year French oak barrels for 8 months, pressed via pneumatic
press, with nitrogen protection and oak barrel fermentation.
Pale lemon-yellow in color, bright and translucent, with a clean, focused appearance. The nose offers an appealing sweetness—first with a hint of pineapple beer, followed by yellow fruit aromas (yellow peach, apricot, loquat), alongside citrus, pineapple, vanilla, light cream, and pear drop candy notes.
Medium-bodied with a smooth yet slightly textured mouthfeel. The acidity is moderate, softened by MLF, making it gentle and unobtrusive. Medium complexity—clean and sweetly fragrant with a subtle saline touch. The fruit profile features yellow fruits, pineapple, mango, and ripe citrus, complemented by a vanilla ice cream nuance and a faint whisper of coconut jelly or fruit jelly.
The finish lingers for about 7-8 seconds, carrying fresh yellow fruit tones and a delicate vanilla-creaminess. With slight oxidation, a subtle dried sweet potato note emerges.
Pairing Suggestions:
Works well with mildly seasoned home-style dishes—such as freshwater or seafood with low fishiness, chicken-based dishes, rich potato preparations, or fresh soft cheeses.
This is an approachable, easy-drinking Chardonnay with gradually unfolding layers. Though not grand in structure, it delivers all the essential varietal and oak-aged characteristics in a balanced, crowd-pleasing package.
