Our Winery
Jade Vineyard, nestled at the eastern foothills of Helan Mountain in Ningxia, China, was established in the early summer of 2013. Spanning 20 hectares at an elevation of 1,180 meters, our boutique winery produces only 70,000 bottles annually. As a rising star among China’s premium wineries, Jade Vineyard has garnered widespread acclaim from international wine experts since 2017 through tasting events in Hong Kong, London, Paris, and New York. These accolades have helped redefine the global perception of Chinese wine.
Our Vineyard
Jade Vineyard cultivates French-sourced, virus-free grapevines from elite nurseries, ensuring varietal purity and vine health. Our estate grows some of the world’s finest varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Marselan, Cabernet Franc, and Chardonnay. By mastering the art of single-varietal wines—the most challenging to perfect—we vividly express Ningxia’s unique terroir and embody Jade Vineyard’s winemaking notes philosophy.
Founder
Ms. Ding Jian, founder of Jade Vineyard and a Nankai University economics graduate, was forever captivated by wine after a single unforgettable glass. Her passion led her to establish Emma Wine Cellar, specializing in renowned global wines. In 2013, heeding her heart’s call, she ventured to Helan Mountain’s eastern slopes to create Jade Vineyard—reclaiming land, planting vines, and gradually building both vineyard and winery. Within just eight years, her vision propelled Jade Vineyard onto the world stage.

Driven by an uncompromising pursuit of excellence, Jade Vineyard has earned a stellar reputation for quality. In its brief history, the winery has received 214 international and domestic awards, a testament to its dedication to crafting exceptional wines.
Silver Heights wines are now sold around the world, showing the elegance and finesse expected of the world’s best Chateaux. Emma Gao continues to gradually expand her production capability, while also pushing for innovation in her repertoire of wines. For over a decade, the winery has been consistently setting an example as a multigenerational family winery prioritizing sustainability and harmony with nature.
